All Mashbuild bourbon is solera-aged, meaning that barrels of similar ages are grouped together in a common “layer” of the solera.
In batch #7, both traditional and new mash bills are added from Colorado, Kentucky, Indiana and South Carolina, using sweet corn, bloody butcher, and dent corn to create these newer bourbons. All nosed and tasted to make sure all ingredients are compatible with the other bourbons in the solera.
